For this quarter’s project, you will be required to read at least ONE book and do a book share project. You can choose which book to read, but it must be appropriate for your age and reading level. You must do the following for your book share:
complete a book report form AND
give a five-minute oral presentation about your book on October 13th or 15th
Oral Presentation (Choose ONE):
Give an analysis of the book: the plot, the characters and the themes. Be sure to share your opinion of the book and explain why you feel that way.
Bring in something from home that you feel represents the book. Give a presentation explaining the plot of the book and how the object you have chosen relates to the book.
If you were a Hollywood movie director making a movie of the book, what actors would you choose to play the characters in the book? Explain your reasons for your choices.
Make a soundtrack for the book by presenting three different songs that relate to your book. Be prepared to explain why you chose those songs.
Other Options: you can create your own oral presentation, but you must have permission before you start your project.
